If you increase the amount of content on your website you will increase the amount of traffic to your website.

More Content on your blog means more people will visit your website

But how do you increase the amount of content on your blog?

To increase the amount of content you have on your blog here are a few tips:

Check your stats: I use Google analytics. This free tool will let you know how many visitors are coming to you site and more importantly, which s articles they are viewing and which links they are clicking on. You may also choose to use Google Webmaster tools which is also a free service by Google. Take a tour here: http://www.google.com.mx/webmasters/tour/tour1.html

Review the comments from your visitors. What are they saying? Are there any positive comments that suggest content that you can do more of? Are your visitors displeased with anything? Review the comments do more of the things that trigger positive responses. You may get a few more ideas for blog posts from the comments, just make sure that you write about things that you are passionate about. If you don’t know much about a given topic you can either research it and write about what you’ve learned or else ignore topics that are not appropriate for your blog or chosen niche.

Find out the most popular subjects for your blog and blog posts: Go to the “2008 Google Zeitgeist” at http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/zeitgeist2008/ to read about the most searched topics and highlights of Google searches from around the world. You’ll find out a lot about emerging trends and much more.

Research trends: Speaking of trends, “Google Trends” at http://www.google.com/trends/hottrends tells you what keywords people are searching for on a daily basis. This can prove to be very helpful when trying to increase the amount of content on your blog.

One more piece of advice would be to write more often. For example if you are currently writing one blog post per week you may choose to write two or three times a week. It obvious, the more you write, the more content you will have on you blog.

To more content with purpose,
Greg

I use the fantastico icon in my hostgator account to install my blogs. There is an option for a directory location, such as http://example.com/wordpress.

On my missiosnwithpurpose website which I have had for years I decided to add a blog as an extra for my website. When I installed the blog it was installed as www.missionswithpurpose.com/blog.

If you look up my posts a lot of them will still be listed under that url.

Some of my subscribers told me that it was a little confusing having both a blog and a website with a lot of pages on it.

I decided to make my blog the main website. Here’s how to make the change:

Using an ftp client (I use Filezilla) bak up all the origianl files. There is a download option with filezilla

Change both the wordpress url and the blog url to your desired location. (I simply took off the “/blog”in my case.

Move al the files to your desired location. (since my files were under a folder called “blog”, I simply moved them under my main index.

Delete the unused directory

You can find a more detailed explanation at Moving WordPress Within Your Site

The reason for this is because I have been in the remote mountains in the Chenalho region of Chiapas, Mexico giving out toys and goodies to the Tzotzil Indian children.

We are privileged to be able to give to others in this way thus expressing the true meaning of Christmas.

We’re in the middle of handing out 2100 toys to the Children in the Tzotzil Indian tribes where we minister.

So far we’ve handed out toys and goodies to over 1500 children. These children are very appreciative.

A Picture is worth a thousand words..

Clowns, music, puppets, toys, candy and pinatas are just part of the fiestas. These children have never experienced such a party like this before. It is a Christmas that they will remember.
Here’s a small unedited video of one of the places where we just ministered-

We still have 2 more days to go and will be ministering to 600 Tzotzil Indian children tomorrow and Sunday.

Here’s a internet opportunity that works for all eternity…

We haven’t covered all the expenses yet and would appreciate your gift towards this project. Besides benefiting the Indian children, since it’s the end of the year you can still write it off on your 2008 taxes.

Please visit our Missions Donations page for more information about giving.

We trust you will have a joyful and Christ filled Holiday Season. We wish you the very best as you accomplish your purpose in family, business, and life.

God bless

Here’s a low cost way to stop wasting money on adwords by one of my favorite internet business coaches…..

This month Terry Dean has pulled out all the stops and is over delivering with his monthly newsletter.

He just interviewd Glenn Livingston for 2 hours and 8 minutes on Adwords strategies. He drilled him on some of his most advanced strategies for Google Adwords profits.

In addition, Terry Dean asked some of his one-on-one coaching clients what were their most difficult questions about Adwords. I was fortunate to have some of my questions answered in this excellent interview. Glenn Livingston went right through all of these questionl…giving technique after technique for improving your results.

If you’re interested in generating significantly more traffic for less money on Adwords, you need to grab your copy of this audio. If you’re a not Monthly Mentor Club member, you can have it sent out to you this week. Click here to join the Club…

I’ve already read my copy and here are some of these things I discovered…

- A unique strategy for boosting your quality score while improving your opt-in rates at the same time. Almost NO ONE is doing this! Works like crazy even in the MOST competitive markets.

- Exact steps to improve the quality score on all of your Adwords campaigns. If you’re having any problems with quality score, simply follow these step-by-step tips.

- Why 99% of advertisers are using the WRONG information to make their marketing decisions. Find out why this is and how to “beat the Adwords” system by using the right numbers.

- How to find a domain name that doubles your clickthroughs while boosting conversion on your site by 20% or more. This method is so simple you’ll slap yourself for having not thought of it earlier.

- How to build a targeted opt-in list where you know EXACTLY what to email them and what they want you to buy. Yes, this is a survey based list building method where your audience tells you what to write - and you’ve probably NEVER heard it explained this way before.

- The new long tail of PPC results. Going with 3 to 5 phrase keywords used to be the longtail method of generating a lot of traffic low cost. Not anymore. Find out the NEW longtail method.

- How to quickly build a high traffic content network campaign. Yes, Glenn tells you EXACTLY how he does it personally…and why it works so well (put Google to work for you).

I have to admit, the content in this interview blew me away. I use adwords but after listening to the audio I discovered how I have completely wasted money using adwords. I’m already already these techniques to improve my adwords skills.

Terry always overdelivers with his monthly newsletter but this month he is giving the entire audio interview to all of his monthly menttor club students. PLUS, he had the whole interview transcribed (over 50 pages of information). And that’s not all, Terry Dean went through both the audio and transcription to pull out the most important highlights and included them in his regular 11 page newsletter this month.

So the whole December issue is focused on Adwords information. I’m tired of just GUESSING about how to quickly drive traffic to my site again. How about you?

The absolute BEST Price on the New & Old Testament Complete Learning System™ From Nest Family Entertainment.

When you’re in the market for wholesome, pre-screened Christian DVD’s, music, books, videos, and more Nest Family Entertainment is the right choice for you. As a distributor with them, I guarantee you the ABSOLUTE BEST PRICES possible…ones so exclusive you can’t even get these deals straight from them.

My Family and I are happy customers for these wonderful Nest DVDs and have also sold them for years. I sell a lot of the sets of Bible videos. There are two reasons that I sell so many of them:

Because I believe in the product .

Because I sell them at the VERY BEST PRICE available

Why the Animated Bible Stories for Children are an excellent resource for families

This complete learning system is simply a great product for my family. My eight year old daughter loves them. She learns some great values and some great character building skills.

She was especially touched by the story of Esther and how God used a young woman to make a big difference in the lives of her people. She is also learning how to be honest, loving, truthful, caring and giving. This Holiday Season she is learning the True Meaning of Christmas.

She is also learning some great moral and spiritual skills.

I love the quality and the Biblical accuracy in each DVD. I also like the interactive questions and answers and the Bible references.

Why do I sell so many Bible libraries from Nest Family Entertainment?

Because my family and I are Nest Entertainment’s best customer.

We recommend them to you because they have made a difference in our lives. We believe in the quality, content, character building virtues, Biblical accuracy, and wholesome family entertainment values of the Nest Entertainment Bible Collection.

I love domain names. It’s kind of my hobby to collect domain names. All of the sudden I’ll get a new idea for a domain name and I’ll purchase it if it is available. At last count I had 134 domain names.

I purchase all of my domain names at 45 cents above wholesale cost.

How do I know that I’m only paying 45 cents above wholesale cost?

Simple.

I have a reseller account from GoDaddy called Real Domain Success.com.

I set my own prices for the domain name service.

As you may know the cost of domain names just recently took a price increase. As a result, my regular prices just went up to $8.99 per domain name. I didn’t have any control over the wholesale price increase but I do have control over my prices which are still set just slightly above wholesale cost. GoDaddy’s regular price for a domain name is $10.69 and they run specials for $9.99.

Even at the sale price of $9.99 my regular prices at Real Domain Success.com are still one dollar less at $8.99 per domain name.

I also sell “.org” and “.net: domain names at the lowest price available. In fact, I sell almost all the domain names at Real Domain Success at the lowest price available.

Why Do I sell the domain names at such a low cost?

Two Reasons:

Because I want to purchase my own domain names at the very lowest price available.

Because I want to pass on the deal to my friends and readers of this website.

The first reason I sell the domain names at a fraction above wholesale cost is so that I can purchase as many domain names as I like. I am writing an article now called “How to Make Money from Domain Names”. Actually, I stumbled on to the concept of making money from domain names because I originally purchased the domain names sort of as a hobby. However, I’m all for turning a hobby into a money making opportunity.

Here’s an even better reason for offering low priced domain names-

You get to take advantage of the low prices.

My goal on this website is to offer as much information, products and low cost prices as possible to everyone who reads my articles. I want to earn your confidence and gain your trust. That is not easily done. There are a lot of dishonest people out there especially when it comes to internet businesses. Read My Article on Honest Internet marketing.

For a Limited Time You Can Purchase “.COM” Domain Names at $<del datetime="2008-12-06T03:15:00+00:00">7.99</del> $7.49!*

Plus you’ll get these benefits FREE with every domain:

*These special prices are valid until December 31, 2008.

By offering low cost domain names with no strings attached I am able to provide a good service to all my friends and potential customers. Hopefully you will take advantage of the opportunity.

If we have our priorites in order it will help us in everything that we do.

There are 5 prioirities that I am especially thankful for today.

1. My Relationship with Christ

Notice that I siad my relationship not my religion. I know that there are many diffierent religions, I’m talking about communicaticating with Jesus and worshipping God, not just going to church. It isimportant to put God first in everything that we do and then everything esle should fall in line.

2. My Wife and Family

This should be second priority. Many times we tend to put work or service before our family. Next to a relationship with Christ, the day that we marry a person is a life changing event and should be considered very important. Our children shouldn’t have to feel like my job is more important than they are.

3. Quality Friendships

This is where I fall short at times. I would much rather work than to go out with friends. Quality relationships require work and they need to be cultivated.

4. My Work

Finally in 4th position we get to a priority where we spend most of our time. Just because we spend more time at work, at least 40 hours a week for many people, doesn’t mean that it should be top priority. I am thankful for the opportunity to work and to serve others whith my gifts and talents.

5. Freedom and a long list of things associated with it.

There are so many other things to be thankful for such as material possessions, modern conveniences, and even necessities in life such as food and clothing. After thinking about it, if we lack freedom it would be hard to have or enjoy a long list of things associated with freedom. I am thankful that I live in a free country and that I am free.

The Opportunity to Give

Hopefully this recent incident with my daughter Cristi will help stress the importance of giving.

The other day, Mari who is a Tzental Indian girl who lives with us invited us to go to her house. Mari is from a small village located near Tenejapa, Chiapas.

After driving on some rough roads to get to her village we parked the tuck and walked another 15 minutes to get to her house.

When we entered her home we immediately noticed the dirt floors, a place to cook in the middle of the room and chickens running around inside.

Mari is one of 9 children. One of Mari’s sisters, Isabel, began playing with our daughter Cristi.
Cristi’s had her favorite stuffed animal with her. Little Isabel was especially interested in the little doll since she her parents obviously couldn’t afford to get her one like this.

We are trying to teach our daughter the importance of giving. Cristi gave little Isabel her build-a bear. Although the stuffed animal meant a lot to our daughter it was a very special gift for little Isabel.

Cristi gives Isabell her favorite stuffed Animal

That little build- a-bear meant a lot to Cristi, but she gave it because she knew Isabel needed it more.

Of course, little Isabel was very thankful after my daughter Cristi “Gave”.

So you see. Thanks and Giving go hand and hand.

I have an entire website that is dedicated to how we are giving to others in the Country of Mexico. Check it out at www.MissionsWithPurpose.com

Happy Thanks+Giving!

Reading books has changed my life. I am continually learning and have grown more in the past year through my reading experiences than in many previous years combined. I attribute a lot of this success to my reading experiences. It’s never too late to get a good education. Investing in reading materials is wise and you can even write it off on your taxes. Also I should mention that if you don’t like to actually read you could do what I do, I purchase the books in audio form and listen to them while I’m driving.

I hope these books and materials will help contribute to your university of success.

I haven’t read all these books. Some of them are what I would classify as Interesting reading. I can recommend the books that are in bold because I have read them and they are a must for anyone who is serious about marketing, real life purpose, and success. You can get “Scientific Advertising” for free by subscribing to this blog.

So how do you know if an internet marketing guru is the type of person you would like to purchase from?

What sets apart an internet marketer with integrity from all the rest?

What are some of the qualities that you would look for?

Who can you trust so much that you would even promote their affiliate products?

It’s a tough call sometimes.. but here’s a good example. While writing this article on honest Internet marketers I found a very good tool for submitting posts to social networks by Jack Humphrey.

Jack Humprey, who I have never heard of before, also gives away a black book which is very good at this affiliate link: Authority Black Book The book is a free give away and has some great content but it also promotes some of his other products.

The question is “How would I distinguish if this guy is a good person to promote on this website since I only want to promote people of integrity?”

Hopefully some of the pointers in this article will help you to figure out who you can trust and who not to. When it comes to knowing about peoples integrity, I still do not have this all figured out.

Listed below are some of the ways to distinguish the Integrity of an Internet Marketer.

Is He a Man of Character?

I know this is a needed subject because it affects me daily. I have weeded through the subscriptions in my in-box and have cut out the marketers who are just out to make a quick buck or lack character. But I still have to decipher through circumstances such as the one I just mentioned above on a regular basis.

It’s a lot easier to judge someone’s character when you meet them in person. You just feel it.
However, if we only use websites, emails, and phone calls it’s a lot harder to figure out if someone possesses good character traits. You may have to research a little to find out if the person possesses good character traits. If not, once you begin to receive communication from that person you’ll find out fairly quickly.

Who are their Friends?

A good line is to look for is associations with others. You’ll find that in the Internet marketing world people are seen with specific other people. They are not seen often with others except on rare occasions. They also promote the same people. You know- clicks. You can judge a person’s character by the quality of people he hangs out with.

Is he Sincere About Helping You?

When you join an internet marketer’s mailing list you’ll find out really quick whether or not the person is just interested in a fast buck or if he is genuinely sincere about helping others. And yes, he should have a genuine desire to help others.

After all, most of the internet marketing materials that are being sold are basically “how to” tools for aiding a person in achieving some type of success in any given topic or niche.

If the internet guru is just giving sales pitches and promotions for his and a lot of other peoples products then he may not really be of your best interest. On the hand, if that person emails you with quality information on a regular basis, perhaps from his blog posts. Then you can have more confidence in him.

Is the Money REALLY just in the List?

Most all internet marketers will tell you that “the money is in the list”.

Exceptional internet business people will tell you that “the money is in a relationship with the list”. It could be that your favorite internet marketer will have a blog. Blogs are great for relationship building and provide a good platform for giving out quality advice.

What’s the biggest problem in the internet marketing field?

Over-hyped product launches are one of the biggest issues in our market. Avoid anyone who participates in internet marketing launches regularly. A few are OK, but if they’re promoting every new thing, get off their list.

I’d avoid all the marketers who make big income claims. When I see all these big Clickbank reports on a website I usually become a little cautious. After a while, all the sales pages look alike. It’s refreshing to see a no hype sales copy on a webpage.
Watch out for people who make unbelievable promises that just don’t make sense like “you will make one million next month” or even “You’ll get $2197 worth of bonuses when you purchase my $29 product. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

Seth Godin wrote a nice little excerpt on the subject of quick money called “Too good to be true (the overnight millionaire scam)”

Is it cheap?

Along this same line of thought. Expect to pay more for a quality product or service. If you’re offered to low of a price for some unbelievably great deal then you may need to think twice before making a purchase.
I would much rather pay a few extra dollars for a quality product than to waste my money on junk.

In Spanish there’s a nice quote that says “El barato sale caro” which translated mean “cheep things will cost you more”. You get what you pay for.

When will we Ever learn?

Maybe I’m still just a sucker for good sales pitches or internet marketing quick fixes, that’s why I’m writing this article. I’ve learned a lot about this the hard way. I’m still learning. The day I stop learning is the day when I am no longer breathing.
I still mess up at times and get involved with the wrong person…and I’m extremely cautious about who I promote on this website. It’s a very dishonest market as a whole.

Who Are The Honest Internet Marketers?

There are some legitimate internet marketers out there; Businessmen who possess integrity.
Here is a partial list of some people that I can recommend. Hopefully none of them have tricked me.

My highest recommendation goes to Terry Dean.

Terry Dean is a man of integrity. Buy all of his products and tell him I sent you. Better yet, Click on my affiliate link here to get his Internet Lifestyle Success system.

Watch his free video and get his bonuses. He’ll begin to send you quality content weekly and you’ll wonder where this breath of fresh air came from. (Get his reports when you subscribe to this blog) Terry has a great article on 10 Internet Marketing Rules to Live by at www.terrydean.org/10-internet-marketing-rules-to-live-by/. Terry always over delivers!

Rosalind Gardner

I have also been following Rosalind Gardner’s blog at Net Profits Today. She constantly sends out quality materials such as this related series about Debunking the Hype in affiliate marketing.

She also has a very good guide for beginners which I would consider the very best on affiliate marketing. called The Super Affiliate Handbook. I’ve read it a few times since it is chock full of information.

Ewen Chia

I also have to admit that I like Ewen Chia. Although he’ll bombard you with product offers, he just puts out some great material. I really like his Super Affiliate Club which is great for beginners and intermediates alike.

It’s full of quality advice, fresh information and tools that you can use to start your internet business. If you sign up for my mailing list I’ll also send you a copy of his book on “How to work from home and make money on the internet”.

Here are a few more referrals:
