I love WordPress blog themes. That’s why I’m providing this article to inform you of the premium WordPress blog themes I actually use. If you’re considering purchasing a premium WordPress theme, hopefully this article will help you decide which is the right Blog theme for you.
Just to clarify. Premium WordPress Blog themes are themes that you pay for. Although you can get some pretty good blog themes for free, none of them will provide the benefits of these premium blog themes.
I’ve listed a couple of my favorite free blog themes in my Resource Rolodex.
My Favorite Premium Blog Themes
The following are my personal favorite WordPress blog themes. I’m also providing a short description of each WordPress blog theme, why I like each WordPress theme and links to where I’m using them.. Please note that my list of favorite blog themes are subject to change and that I will receive compensation if you purchase one of these themes using the links in this article.
Genesis Themes by StudioPress
My First Choice for a Pemium WordPress Blog Theme is StudioPress.
StudioPress Has teamed up with Copyblogger to put out these excellent themes.
Brian Garner is the programer behind Studiopress. He is tops in my book. He’s always been so very real, friendly and caring. Formerly Revolution Themes, StudioPress has come out with a great Genesis Theme Framework for WordPress.
The Genesis Theme Framework is built on a simple parent theme that can be extended with the use of child themes.
The main advantage of the Genesis Framework is the ability easily upgrade as WordPress changes.
I like the fact that StudioPress already has Search Engine Optimization (SEO) built in. When you install and activate Genesis, the framework for the child themes, you’ll immediately notice faster page load times and ease of readability to engage and hold your reader’s attention.
If you need a help along the way, you’ll be able to take advantage on the most valuable part of your StudioPresss purchase—Brian’s expert support staff and members-only forums!

Like most all of the StudioPress Themes, the use of post thumbnails is easy and simple to use. The Genesis code also offers increased security.
Where I USE the StudioPress Blog Theme
I’m using the Maximum Theme by StudioPress on this internet business website. It’s my first #1 choice for a premium theme. In fact I set up a separate we page to promote it at Blog Theme Success.com.

Hi Courtney,
From what I’ve seen and heard the Frugal Theme is a good choice. I haven’t tried it so I didn’t add it to my list.
Thanks for the comment.
