My Elevator Pitch

The task  today is to write an elevator pitch. What’s is an elevator pitch?

“An elevator pitch is an overview of an idea for a product, service, or project. The name reflects the fact that an elevator pitch can be delivered in the time span of an elevator ride (for example, thirty seconds or 100-150 words).”Wikipedia

After responding to the previous points I revised my previous Missions Statement: :“You’ll find articles that guide and motivate You in achieving online business success, especially with WordPress Blogs, but that’s not all, we’ll assist you in accomplishing your purpose in life in the process…”

I also looked up the definitions to these terms in Wikipedia:

Internet Business- A dot-com company, or simply a dot-com (alternatively rendered dot.com or dot com), is a company that does most of its business on the Internet, usually through a website that uses the popular top-level domain, “.com” (in turn derived from the word “commercial”).

Purpose is the cognitive awareness in cause and effect linking for achieving a goal in a given system, whether human or machine. Its most general sense is the anticipated result which guides decision making in choosing appropriate actions within a range of strategies in the process (a conceptual scheme) based on varying degrees of ambiguity about the knowledge that creates the contextualisation for the action. Purpose serves to change the state of conditions in a given environment, usually to one with a perceived better set of conditions or parameters from the previous state. This change is the motivation that serves the locus of control and goal orientation.

Real Life Purpose Elevator Pitch

After this extensive though process and research here’s the Elevator pitch for the Internet Business with Purpose website:

My Short Elevator Pitch:

Achieve Real Internet Business Success With Life Purpose!

I really Like Problogger’s simple pitch: “ProBlogger helps Bloggers Build Exceptional Blogs”

Since a high amount of the articles on this website is about blogging for beginners I would also like to convey a similar Message:

“Internet Business with Purpose helps beginners build Exceptional Blogs”

My Elevator Pitch (little longer)

“It’s not just about the money.  It’s about
accomplishing your purpose in life through
the Internet and WordPress blogs.  We’re here
to help you achieve online business success
with guidance, step-by-step systems, and motivation…”

This Article is the first day of “31 Days to Build a Better Blog” by Darren Rowse  of Problogger.net

Although I have a lot of other things going on I decided that I couldn’t afford not to take his challenge. Especially since Darren always puts out great material and not to mention that it’s all free.

The project involves 2 things:

  1. A teaching each day
  2. Completing a task a day

This is a great opportunity to learn from a real blogging pro.

I accepted the challenge.

You can take the challenge also. You can do so at 31 Days To Build A Better Blog.

I completed each task on this blog. This gave me great material to write about, it’s also be a good example for those who are just beginning. So let’s get started.
