The Dropbox application has been one of my favorite solutions for free online file sharing across mutliple computers for quite a while now. I use it at a virtual documents folder. Basically it’s an easy way to store almost any type of file including important documents and images online. One of my favorite features is the easy drag and drop interface.

3 Ways I Use Dropbox

1. I use the file syncing features for file sharing across multiple computers.

I have a windows pc, a mac and even a linux ubuntu computer. Dropbox is easy to install and use on all 3 operating systems.

2. I use the online features for sharing my files with my friends and coworkers.

It’s easy to share a file with  anybody that I want to. All I do is use the share folder option  and send them an invitation to view the specific file I want them to see. I can give them access to a group of files or just 1 file. It’s that easy.

3. I use the mobile devices access features on my new Ipad.

I just purchased an IPad. I use dropbox to store and view my important files right from my Ipad. What’s great is if I add a file from one of my other computers it automatically syncs with my Ipad, and vice versa.
